Explore the linkages between ethics, social justice, and the rehabilitation counselor’s need to address wellness and self-care in contemporary systems in which rehabilitation counselors find themselves practicing.  Our current world presents increased challenges to counselor well-being with fewer supports for them to attend to this obligation. Current social and global conditions since as the rise of social justice concerns, increased gun violence, economic hardship, and global unrest are pressing and disruptive for  clients and counselors alike.  The focus on moral stress and moral injury should spark renewed appreciation of these challenges and greater willingness to actually commit to some of the practical measures that are showcased in the webcast.
