Supervisors have opportunities to lead, teach, advocate, and model the very best ethical practice in helping people with disabilities envision and achieve their goals. Using different decision-making models to guide your thinking, you’ll analyze ethical issue and dilemma scenarios. You’ll use the Code of Ethics as you make decisions about the appropriate way to proceed. Practice defending the decisions you make about the clients and counselors in this ethics course. You’ll also have opportunities to consider the role of cultural humility in counseling and the practice of ethical bracketing. The learning activities are designed to help you apply the content presented in the course and identify ways you can enhance your own ethical decision-making skills. The Code of Ethics is integrated into the feedback provided for each learning activity. Earn 4 CRCC pre-approved CRC CE clock hours in Ethics or 4 general hours toward CVE renewal.
